These Terms govern your use of the Miscellaneous Makers Mansion website and all related services. By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

Miscellaneous Makers Mansion is a nonprofit organization in Columbus, Ohio. Our mission is to support STEM education and youth maker programs in our community.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Miscellaneous Makers Mansion offers the following:

• 3D Printed Art & Planters — Handcrafted character planters, wall art, and decorative models.
• Custom Art Orders — Personalized items made to your size, character, color, and finish specifications.
• 3D Printing Services — FDM and resin printing using customer-supplied files.
• Prototype Engineering — Concept design, CAD modeling, and physical prototype development.

Product colors may vary slightly from images shown due to natural variation in paint and filament batches. Made-to-Order items have estimated production timelines provided at order confirmation.

Payment: We accept Stripe (credit/debit cards) and PayPal. Payment is collected at time of order. All prices are in USD.

Order Confirmation: A confirmation email confirms receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel any order, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Pricing: Prices are subject to change. The price charged will be the price displayed at time of order. Add-ons (stone finish, multi-color) are applied as selected at checkout.

Sales Tax: Applicable Ohio sales tax will be calculated at checkout where required by law.

• Custom orders require quote approval before production begins.
• A deposit may be required for large or complex orders.
• Once production has begun, cancellations are not accepted and no refund will be issued.
• Customers are responsible for providing accurate specifications.
• Reference images submitted are used solely for production and will not be shared with third parties.
• Final products may vary slightly from reference images due to the nature of 3D printing and hand-painting.

• File Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring files are print-ready, properly scaled, and error-free.
• Intellectual Property: By submitting a file, you confirm you own or have permission to print the design.
• Print Quality: Minor surface imperfections are inherent to 3D printing and are not considered defects.
• Failed Prints: Print failures caused by our equipment will be reprinted at no charge. Failures caused by problematic customer files may incur additional fees.

• All projects begin with a written quote and timeline before any work starts.
• CAD files and work product created by us remain our intellectual property unless a written agreement states otherwise.
• We maintain confidentiality of all client project details.
• Prototypes are not certified for safety-critical, medical, or structural applications unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Standard Shipping: Shipped via USPS or UPS. Costs calculated at checkout. We are not responsible for carrier delays. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

Local Pickup: Available in Columbus, Ohio. Orders not picked up within 14 days of the ready notification may be cancelled without refund.

Local Delivery: Available in the Columbus area. A delivery fee may apply. We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or unavailability.

Made-to-Order: Require production time before shipment. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Standard Products: Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused and undamaged. Contact us to initiate. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless due to our error.

Damaged Items: Photograph damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

Custom Orders: All sales of custom or personalized items are final once production has begun.

Refund Processing: Approved refunds processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Miscellaneous Makers Mansion is a nonprofit organization. After covering operating expenses and employee compensation, excess profits are directed toward STEM charities, school STEM programs, and helping students develop prototypes for entrepreneurial projects in the Columbus community.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miscellaneous Makers Mansion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our website, products, or services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific product or service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Franklin County, Ohio.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
